Language Courses for Students

The "Vice-Rectorate for International Relations"  of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), taking into account visitor students, either members of the ERASMUS Programme or any other Programmes of Cooperation and Scientific Investigation, offers Language Courses (Spanish and Basque) at the campuses of Álava (Vitoria-Gasteiz), Gipuzkoa (San Sebastián) and Bizkaia (Bilbao/ Leioa).

UPV/EHU Language Courses are offered in the following levels and periods:

Spanish courses:

Levels: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced.

Periods: Spanish intensive course in September.

            Autumn and Spring courses (academic year courses).

In order to establish the student's level a test will be carried out on the first day of each course.

Basque courses:

Levels and periods:

Autumn course: Only elementary level.

Spring course: Both elementary and intermediate levels.

The syllabus of all these courses, will be focused mainly on a communicative approach, but grammar, comprehension and production of oral and written texts also will be included.
